1990 Alpinestars Almega DX non estay

Well this is due to be sold, unfortunely.

But I have enjoyed my all be it brief time with it.

Added flo pink grips, got some nos onza flo pink bar ends and a very nice Black syncro's arrived this morning.

Sadly doesn't look like these will be sold with the bike. Also went to the trouble of getting the touch up paint.

Anyway enough chat here are some pics.

These are my pride'n'joy...

The one on the left has donated its bars, shifters, pedals and wheels to the other, which now also has the silver alloy seatpost with a period FliteMax, a NOS 150mm Zoom stem and LX V's - pix to follow when a decent day actually coincides with a day off!

The one on the left is soon to lose its neon paint and gain most of a 7-speed XT gruppo (or 8-speed if I don't go with the Maguras?). Got all the parts, just need to strip it and get the frame down to the powder-coaters...

Actually I do need to go with the Maguras as I forgot I have a top-pull front mech going on - but I do like the XT V's... :roll:
