Hi everyone,

My is Cy. I'm across the pond..
I've been lurking in this forum/thread for last couple of months.
I really appreciate the awesome builds in this thread.

I figured I share my urban assault.

Here's my 1997 Kona-Muni Mula-Custom build.
It is certainly not as nice as the ones in the previous pages.
IMHO/E, the sweet spot for frame geometry for me... is from the 90's to the 2010.

Nice build. Those aluminium frames seem to ride well with the P2 steel fork.

Very nice! Don't sell yourself short, they are fantastic bikes. I agree on the Geometry, I'm a big fan of that time period too.

I still can't believe how light the P2 forks are with the frame.
My twin brother has an 1999 custom built NRS XTC2.
He could believe how light the Kona is... for me i'm always switching between my 2004 custom built NRS3 and the Kona.
I guess, I got the best of both worlds.😁
