For me, the simplicity, or function over fashion is part of the charm.

It's a refreshing change from the American style cranks. Nothing against them, but topline, grafton, cooks all start to look a bit samey.

Ive always liked the middleburn chainset good solid clean crankset imho
 
fellas... start your own non-Middleburn crank thread... I hoped this could be a Middleburn dedicated thread (yes there are some other nice crank sets out there, but this thread is dedicated to Middleburn)

I went through a few of these crank arms in my racing days nightmare from my point although the do LOOK good :?
