Show us your Diamond Backs!!!

Apparently I am the inspiration for this thread, so I guess I should add a recent addition to tardis garage🤦‍♂️
Got late last year, was a road racers bike with bars cut to 44cm!
With bars, Flexstem and saddle from the parts stack, tyres to be changed in the future, very happy to have again a classic 1991 DB paint job!
First picture as found, second current spec. IMG_20241026_105537.webp IMG_20250302_154908.webp

Such a nice paint effect on the 91 Axis, in great condition too. Bit of chain torture going on there ;-)

My 1992 Axis restoration, this one is a keeper, after selling a TTlite last year and regretting it, I don't think I will find a nicer Axis, plus I spent weeks restoring this one back to factory spec and mint condition

Maybe someone can help to date my latest purchase. Diamond Back Agoura, a hybrid with STX. A 1994 German catalogue shows the same bike, as top of the range hybrid that year, but in red with black accessories. This one is blue with silver accessories, which makes me think it's a 1995. The available catalogue for 1995 does not show this model, but it's in English, likely for the American market, where this model was not available.

Seems to accept wide tires so hopefully inherits some of the legendary clearance of the '92 Overdrive, I'm getting some used 47mm tires to test it, currently has some 37s.
