Lovely Hurricane ,

Unfortunatelty, it has the typical Breezer issue of some obvious wear and partially missing decals (which are even below the lacquer).

Mine had some damage too. Just wanted to share how I have done an attempt to repair:

I've bought some new decals from The Life Machine https://thelifemachine.com/collections/frameset-decals/products/breezer-thunder? from Indonesia.

Quality-wise great, but for applying the full decals you should better start with an new painted frame (without original decals).

I have therefore only partially used some decals pieces and stick them over the original decals on the frame.

How it looked before:

not perfect, but you have to get pretty close to see the additional decal (and color- and surface differences for the pieces where the original decal was damaged).
The picture below shows this more dramatically as you do see this in reality and typical sunlight conditions.



BTW: My Ritchey Cranks and my stem needed new decals as well, I've got them from The Life Machine too, both not in their shop but done fast and for a good price as custom order.

The Life Machine are pretty good and I have used them on a few restos for decals. HLloyd also do decals for some Breezer models too now, I've used them too, but for other bikes, and their decals are top notch.

Here is a different Breezer, American Breezer that is. I foolishly sold it about 2 years ago after hoarding it for about 15 years. Completely original less the tires which were NOS Ground Controls. The frame and stem are anodized, not polished aluminum.

Even harder to find in the UK!

I've only found 1 to date and it was too big !

There is an early Breezer Thunder on Ebay Germany at the moment (not mine)
It sports a white bottle with Breezer logo.
Who knows if this was official gear or if this is a reproduction?
