Show us your 700C ATB / MTB / Hybrid

I had a Trek 8700 mountainbike back in 1993. It literally fell apart (bondings failed) and I got a 1995 model as warranty replacement. When this 7900 from 1995 popped up, I didn't have to think long. It's in great condition, hardly used I believe as the handlebar grips show no wear at all.

I will probably strip it to keep the parts as they are, replace them with more recent stuff and use the bike for my annual summer bike tour.

1998 Kona Hot 700c Conversion..
Fox Float RL custom painted with red flake laquer so it sparkles like the frame in the sun.. :D
Cane Creek EE-silk Seatpost Turned down from 27.2 to 27.0
38t Garbaruk Oval Chainring - 11 speed 10-44 Cassette

I guess youd call it Gravel nowadays... I just call it awesome :) Its just a lovely comfy way of covering distance on/off road..

Raddler/Riddler Tyre combo is surprisingly capable offroad... and flies on road compared to chunky MTB tyres!

I love this thread and these bikes.

My Checker Pig CPXC05:

I love these old hybrid/trekking/whatever bikes, especially when there is enough tire clearance to make it a 29er. This Checker Pig was one of the first bikes I ever built, and I am still messing with it.

A couple of weeks ago the Lady version CPXCL came up locally and I had to get it:

This one will hopefully get finished this weekend.

those are cool as hell.

Love to throw in this 1993 MARIN "Glen Ellen" I built for my brother. Pretty rare 700c model. Only for the german market as far as I remember ...

and I reaaally dig that. It's nickel plated like the '92 Team Issue I had? So bummed that bike was big for me but maybe I need to star watching kleinanzeigen for a smaller Glen Ellen.

I think the Loa fits in here, especially with the 700x38s

We gotta get a comprehensive list going of bikes that fit this bill.
