Velo - Mary's seat tube is cracked above the top tube weld, now about 2/3 of the way around (even after drilling it). Probably not an expensive fix, although I'd also want a new shim made so that this doesn't happen again.

DITD seat tubes used to break/crack due to the use of shims, a gap being left
below the shim between the seat post and the inside of the seat tube.

The Mary originally came with a non-standard size shim. I wrecked the shim while changing the seatpost and couldn't get another one. So it was all a bit of a bodge to find a shim that worked, plus I then got the seatpost itself powdercoated. Recipe for cracked seat post.
