Laced up the wheels for the monkey today. Blunt 35 rims, WTB Laserdisc lite hubs and DT Comp spokes. Just got to tension and true them and I might have a proper bike with proper gears in time for Glen Clova. (though I am still in a huff that Clubby has banned single speeds! :cry:

Nah. Won't fit on the back of the monkey and wouldn't pay that much for an extra few mm anyway.

Will just be much the same as was on the monkey at the national.

My ride ride was partially scuppered by black ice on the higher bits of a climb I was going to tackle, (I'd previously slid down this road). Anyhoo it turned into more of a bimble and a chance to take some pics

all taken with my Ipod BTW.
