NCB wellies are the worst footwear I've ever had to wear. :cry:

Sair oan the taes and they stank like eff efter 2 or 3 weeks wear.
Feckin' horrible, still have nightmares.

On the bright side they at least had right and left written on them to help the hard of thinking.

I was barely able to wear them for the walk from the pit-baths to the pit-heid. Aaargh. Went back to ordinary pit-boots, wet feet were easier to put up with than deformed taes.

As to them having an L and R for the hard of thinking, anybody that chose to work doon the pit wis hard of thinking, me included.
Anyway they were so badly fitting that putting them oan the wrang feet didnae make much difference. :shock:
