show me your slick/road tyres

I'm using Maxxis Xenith on my commuter. But only because I got them for free. This is a proper slick.
Good tire though, but be carefull in the wet

Liking the Schwalbe amberwalls (particularly the price).

What I'm really after is some of these or similar.
These are Duro beach tyres, 26" in yellow or blue. These are cheap
but only available in US. Unless anyone else knows of coloured road
friendly tyres.

Yeah looked at Halo but not available in yellow or blue sadly.
Annoyingly you can get load of coloured tyres in 700c.

I have bought many many road-ish tires for 26 in rims over the years... anything from proper slicks to treaded... lately my faves are Intense Micro Knobbies (the folding ones; they have wire ones as well - don't bother, they are rubbish)... this is what they look like:

They come in 2.1 or 2.25... I've used both. They look so radical, that they are "BADical"... Currently I have the 2.25's on my uhhh... "carbon everything, full suss, single-speed, drop bar, franken-bike"? I use this bike to ride on/in all manner of surfaces, places, trails, etc when I am in the mood for just a bit of fun!

The tires have extremely low rolling resistance... it's actually a dirt jump tire; on the road you can hardly feel them at all... but anywhere else they five juuuuust the right amount of grip. I use them all over the place. On this particular bike, they've been thrashed. Haven't had a puncture yet!

Conti Sport Contacts in the 1.6 flavour and pumped up to 5 bar. Steel beads were a bit of a struggle to get on the rim, they ride pretty harsh but they're damn fast and light.
I slipstreamed a Mondeo at 40.4 mph the other day. The poor fella's expression in his rear view mirror was priceless!
Might be fun in the rain

I've got 1.5 City Jets on my Klein for town. I'm very pleased with them but they are a very harsh ride and are PITA to get on and off. Mine are black but have since seen them with amber walls. I've also heard good things of the Continental Gatorskins 26 x 1.125.

I do have a pair of Continental Citycontact 26 x 2.1 if you want for £20 tho.

They're very new, still have the line down the middle. I can bring them to FoD if you want to have a look.

well I think these are true amberwalls and retro ;)

some ritchey ones - wonder how old are these ?

sorry for the average picture indoors :?

Bike is in bit of a mess, but then it does cover nearly a 100 miles a week commuting!! i've had these tyres for years and still going strong. As long as you pump the pressure up i can't see a need for skinny ones!!
