The best thing you could get from Specialized in 1991: the Epic Ultimate. Ti lugs, carbon tubes and Suntour XC Pro.

I seriously think that the low/mid end range bikes will go up in value in a few years, as many are destroyed as commuters or "pub bikes" (oh how much I hate that phrase) and they become rarer. This isn't why I keep mine - doesn't matter how much it's worth to me at all, but it is strange that I could buy a Merlin or Fat or Yeti most weeks but it took me a couple of months to find a 92 Tequesta and I haven't seen one for sale since I got it (and I have been looking too - I need an 18"!).

:LOL: That back tyre looks a bit flat in pic 1 :LOL:
