Shocks worth keeping? (now about Halson Inversions/PDS)

Quite recently I bought such an Halson Fork (black one), but the steerer (its an 1") is too short.

Does anybody know how to replace that steerer? Other manufacturers possible?

I am glad I found this thread since it seems I was the only one who has a HD PDS and loves it, by the way mine is Rasta colors.

I know of 4 NOS (all 1 1/4" IIRC). If anyone needs one for parts I can make some arrangements.

Resurrecting this thyread as I've just bought a set of the Halson Inversion forks (black ones) and have a few questions.,,

- are the original boots available anywhere? or does anyon ehave some to sell? if not I'll try and butcher a Lizard Skins fork boot...

- The steerer seems to be interchangeable, mine is locked in by a torx bolt through the steerer tube. I have 1"1/8th threaded but ideally I'd like 1" threaded.... anyone have one? if not then maybe a Pace steerer I have could be chopped to make it work...
