I'm going to focus mainly on the axle mounted Saint M800, and Hone M600 derailleurs. They're both Rapid Rise which I prefer, but M801, and M601 are the High Normal versions. They're both axle mounted but the Saint is 10mm Thru Axle, and the Hone is threaded onto a longer (186mm) solid axle (not QR). There are 12mm Saints also M805/M806.
There is a variation on these that doesn't show up in the part #s. Most of them are for vertical dropouts, but some of them did come with a BMX horizontal dropout plate. This applies to the Hone, and the Saint. Since they don't use a derailleur hanger this could allow the addition of a derailleur to a bike that never had one.
The Saint M800 was a very heavy duty DH groupset. They tend to come with SS, and GS cages for 1x and 2x bikes respectively. The official cassette size limit is 36t. I'm not sure yet if they can go 40t with a longer Bscrew.
The Hone M600 group was an MTB version of basically the same derailleur. It tends to come with SGS long cage for 3x bikes, and GS cage for 2x.
Due to the oddball axle mount, and the shortage of matching hubs, and axles to allow their use these are often available NOS as orphaned parts.
The Zee M640 hub is a 10x135 Thru Axle hub with Centerlock rotor mount.
The Saint M800 hub used an oversized Cenetrlock that takes very arae and expensive Saint rotors.
The M600 Hone hub can be found in QR but the long axle version is very rare. Maybe you can find them in EU bike shops?
The "Saint" axle bolts on Ebay with the RH nut are too short. Probably for the M820 clutch erailleurs that used a hanger.
There is some parts wapping possible with these to help get them mounted.
The dropout plates are the same part# between the Hone, and Saint.
The GS cages are the same parts also. so cage swaps should work also.
The Hone has a RH lugnut that spins in the derailleur housing.
The Saint has a threaded lug that's keyed in place. It can be pressed straight out.
Thy can be swapped easily.
I haven't found a source for the actual Saint M800 axle. SJS might have some for $100 each.
10x1x186mm axles can be found for sale, but are usually out of stock. I have one on the way, and will convert My M756 XT hub to that format.
Disraeli gears has exploded views of both these hubs for comparison.
