heh, so no need for anodizing that good than…I don't mind mirror finish but I would like to keep decals :S
is there any way of putting them back on?

It MAY be possible to have decals made up to replace the ones removed. Please note that if you start to polish you cannot really stop - it is an all or nothing type job.

Have a look on ebay for decal makers - dizzybird is one name i think who may be able to help, i am sure there are others.
