D dawdler Retro Newbie Sep 10, 2018 #1 Hi all, i have an old GT karakoram and the rear shifter is broken. It is a deore lx, the local bike shop says it will be around £70 to replace, is there a cheaper way as the bike isn't worth much more than this (plus i'm pretty skint!)
