Serotta T-Max Build

I thought the same thing about the brazed on cable guide but I saw someone had on their TMAX for years. I've been pursuing other options.

I'll use your solution, "Simple solution is running 1 outer cable from front to rear." What do you recommend to hold down cable to the frame...a zip tie?

Thx,
Carlos

Maybe he was lucky ...and others we do not know of not? The piece is not designed for it. If you compare it with a regular guide/stopper the piece and the brazing is very tiny. Makes a neat guide for canti routing  , but relying on it as outercable stopper is a bit a risky me thinks.

Hydro guides. On a white Serotta I doesn't look really elegant, but on a black one it is less a problem.

Carlos,

I think in case of a white Serotta I think I would at least once try something like this:

1 of these in the front =>

1 of these at the back =>

Without zip tie (they have adhesive material at the back) or with a white zip tie.

...and maybe even a white brake outer cable

Thanks for your help on this fellas, Any idea where I could purchase some of those black cable guide ties from in the uk peeps ?

Must admit like your idea melvin.. ;)
