Selling off a good chunk of the collection...

Hi Guys,

I've had a number of questions about international shipping of these bikes. The long & the short of it is that I simply can't send the bikes via Austraila Post due to their ridiculous parcel size restriction of 1400mm max. girth (i.e. I can't even send an assembled wheelset...). The single exception may be the ACX. As I replied to Incorrigible:

... the only feasible way to send the bike to any other Country in the world would be to completely dissassemble it (incl. pulling down the wheels) & send it in 3 conforming cartons which to the UK would cost ~ $A120 by slow boat or ~$A500 by air!

I'm happy to box any bike & get it ready for your courier but unless you have an awesome shipping rate you'll be paying a hell of a lot.

Looks like th ebikes are headed for AU eBay...

Cheers.

Yeah, nah... Just ran a quote through that site & an MTB to the UK is quoted @ $US1,350 by economy!

There was a way of making it cheaper as I remember
Something to do with the size of box that was used
I cut my fare in half
If I get time I will have a look at how I did it and post details later
