He rode for a bit in my dad's team (In-Gear), sometimes see him around the shop when I get over there.

Nice to hang onto these builds and a slice of history :)

Haha indeed it is, hopefully I'm down there this coming weekend to check out the new shop.
 
I'm 2 years late to this party - and have just discovered this discussion...

I can confirm that Sean Yate's 1980 Emperor Sport TT bike is not in any Cycling Museum.

It is in fact in my back shed here in Luton. I bought it about 12 - 13 years ago exactly as shown in the comic feature above :)
