lots of scots but we can never muster more than about 5 for offroading shinanigins (see macretro sticky in rides section)- I don't think we are a very gregarious bunch :(

Well I'm here now, so fear not :p :p :p :p

BTW - Laggan is too far east for me

I'm already planning a visit to your neck of the woods for the Macretro massive, so you can have no excuses

There's a couple of routes near Arrochar which are quite accessible and not too challenging. Not far once you've made it to Loch Lomond.
I've always fancied the Cairngorms myself, but unsure where the best tracks are. A9 makes for a fast trip, albeit quite a long un for some I suppose. (Although i'd have to drive by that bloomin' Wolf.... place at Laggan  )

That is but a hop and a skip from me, bit further for the eastcoasters but there is a train station which could work. I will post up a poss. meet in may and see what sort of response we get?

I would love to meet up and go for a group ride, but i have no car and no money.
Good news is i live 1.5 miles form Kirroughtree!! also no job means i can go round the red every day!! :p If anyone is down this end gimme a PM

Dave

will do dave, we were hoping to get down your way at some point in the year so will post up a thread when we have a date, would be great to see you.
