Scott team endorphin with zipps full xtr 1996/97

I rode this a good few miles yesterday at the thetford retrobike meet and was really pleased......was worried about the 90 gram stem  and the newly rebuilt zipps with the alloy nipples worried me a bit but I rode it as usual and no problems :D

Certainly put a smile on my face.............

Was like being 18 again.....apart from the wheezing

Few updates....
raceface carbon seatpost....with gold clamp...
carbon saddle....yep carbon and no padding.....94 grams
Nine speed titanium dura ace block.....
Nine speed xtr m952 shifters with bar end shifter too....
and soon raceface flat carbon bars and stubby carbon barends.....

Shaved near another pound off her  and have some real thin tubes on their way as well.....

pics when I finish putting the gear cables back on and then go for a ride... :)

Im shocked by the weight :? My Ti SS is 23lbs
Mind you i do have my reservations on the McRetro scales

I am surprised myself but the frame weighs around the three pound mark or very slightly under.....good building block for lightweight....

Will post pics on the scales when I get a chance....

I think my bike must have been against something as Radeks bike came in @ 21lbs although you could feel mine was lighter.

Searching ebay for a set of scales for myself  That might be a can of worms though :?

Sure that wasn't 22.26 KG

I won't deny the weight is a good factor, The ride is essential though, Would you rather ride a super-light that feels like it's stabbing you or a heavyweight that rides like sitting on the comfiest of couches?
