first off hi - i'm new here

i've got a schwinn cruiser from late 80's in need of some tlc.

whats the general opinion on petrol tanks it was an idea that got put in my head and now i'm torn - to tank or not to tank?

i was going to get a little tank off ebay and chop it about

I'm not sure you'll get much feedback here about fitting petrol tanks to cruisers.

The best place is http://www.ratrodbikes.com/. But cover your eyes first if you're a purist. Some of the projects on Rat Rods are awesome... but others are heinous crimes.

i didn't think this was the best place for my schwinn, but i'll get some photos of my '97 gary fisher xcaliber up when i get around to it.
