Save Our Forests!!!!!

Yep good news...

but the idiots on tv have been criticising him for doing a u-turn.......I thought that democracy was supposed to be like that....an idea was mooted and found wanting....the populace decided they didnt want it and the government listened..........cant remember that happening under a labour goverment

anyway three cheers for cameron........

hip hip hooray

Perhaps the fog is lifting, people are waking from their slumber, this might be the start of things to come, it is hoped a situation where government central or otherwise start actually listening and responding to those that elected them.

But, without the internet, would this have happened, or would yet another sell off have been pushed through without a snail mail murmur, for one thing the internet has enabled, is the organisation of people.

I wonders what thoughts and worries went through the government minds on this issue, have we got them running scared I wonder.

It makes no sense to sell what is ours whilst paying for two nonsensical wars that appear to be doing nothing for us apart from wasting lives and resources. Was the war on terror, nothing but a scam dreamed up by those that would financially profit from it. But one thing that is evident since these wars started, both the UK and the US are financially and militarily weakened.

If money is to be saved, stop fighting wars that will not do anything for us, for wars are literally, a waste of everything.

maybe they're just being democratic
makes a bloody change

No way would this have happened without 38degrees and the internet.. the only way this kind of change to intention can happen is with a central resource rallying the troops...
I honestly believe that, with such a resource, people will be more inclined to revolt in this manner..

Might have to see if they'll take on getting the hunting act repealed...

Already??

David 'call me Dave' Cameron promised to put a repeal up for vote or something but that's as far as I heard...

Sorry for wandering off topic.... it's kinda related-ish ;)

...and put off as far as I am aware.

'Keen hunter' Cameron promised a free vote on it, just before a General Election, quelle surprise.

Sure he has been seen jumping our fence after the squirrels.

The two matters are not particularly close, I would say there are a huge number of people interested in taking care of our flora and fauna, rather than 'taking care' of them.

I think the U-Turn was gracious and honest, "I'm sory, I was wrong..."

Can't remeber hearing that from a politician of any creed for a while.
