saracen murderer

I'm not sure what it is about the Saracen vendor that makes him an "uneducated chav fool" and if you're going to have a go at complete strangers merely for being "uneducated" then you may want to work on your grammar and punctuation.

I'm fine for a sense of humour, thanks for asking, but your style's not tickling it, I'm afraid. Bait people on ebay and you either get people who've got far more wit and intelligence than you and make you look a bit of a berk (cf Saracen man) or you get people who just think you're a timewasting idiot. Neither of these outcomes seems terribly satisfactory to me, but like I say, it's your spare time :)

It was a joke mate lighten up  I did not actually refer to the saracen vendor as the above he is actually a pretty cool chap as we can see from his reply,he also took it in good humour ;)

Really? The vendor in question doesn't come across as uneducated or a 'chav fool' in his original listing and certainly not in his response. So why bother baiting him in the first place?
I find that Ebay baiting just for the sake of it is a bit of a waste of everyone's time and achieves nothing.
If you really want to get creative and productive then may I suggest having a look at something like http://www.419eater.com rather than wasting time on legitimate ebay sales.
You have to be quite clever and creative to pull off a really good bait of that calibre though.

Aren't 'Laughing Smileys' the internet equivalent of canned laughter when used in your own posts? ie if you have to tell us where to laugh then it's not really that funny.

Just a thought.
:)

Could have a point mate but if you read the replies to the above post you will see that the first couple were in the correct spirit ;) In my experience the late comers to a thread usually just come along to moan and criticise    and

Also smileys do allow people to see what vein something was written in and stop them thinking that it was meant in nasty way etc.

and also for the second time I did not call that chap a chav did I :?: I was being generic

Some people on ebay do need picking up as they are blatant con men selling misdescribed trash so it does not hurt to pick them up occasionally ;)

like the people selling someones frame on ebay that had been dumped at the tip because it was cracked in several places ,It was then put up for sale on ebay illegally and was a death trap,so several of us messaged the seller until they ended the item, someone may have died over that, and here is another smiley for you

What's the correct spirit if you don't mind me asking? As you no doubt know, most forum users will at some point encounter others with differing opinions. Generally it's considered good form to respect that rather than sniping straight back at someone who disagrees with or challenges you and telling them to "get a sense of humour mate" or of course worse.

For reference I initially responded to this thread due to my interest in Saracens.

I do realise that. But they sometimes make my brain hurt.

No, you didn't directly. But when you say things like "Uneducated chav fools need knocking into shape anyway" there is a bit of a mixed message you're sending out as you appear to advocate baiting said 'chav fools'. This is shortly after you've publicly demonstrated how you baited this particular seller. So by association it could be seen that you think or thought he was a 'chav fool' worthy of a bait from you.
But that's an assumption, and assumptions and generalisations can be very ignorant and dangerous things.

I agree. That's what the ebay reporting and complaints system is for.

Well done. But did the seller respond to sarcasm, baiting and threats, or was it ebay responding to a sensible factual complaint?

Let's try to remember that Mr. Man was just having a bit of fun in contacting the seller.. possibly passing a little time..

And, most importantly (and the reason this thread was started), got his cyber-arse handed to him on a plate by way of a very amusing retort.

Seems both parties (and a few visitors to this thread) gained a little amusement . . . no harm done imo...
