Retro Newbie
Here is the Saracen Eiger I posted a few months ago now with a few upgrades to make it easier to ride.
Replaced seat post quick release and quick release skewers with very lightweight alloy non quick release ones.
New Ergonomic Grips
Replaced front and rear wheel cones and bearings and re greased.
Replaced worn jockey wheels with Tacx sealed bearing jockeys
Fitted LED front and rear lights, modified tesco and a Cree Q5 AA Torch mounted as my main headlight.
Fitted Continental City Contact tyres to replace the horrible unbranded nobblies that came with it.
Without the lights it now weights 14kg on a digital LCD Scale!
All I need now are new pedals - any suggestion I want lightweight and long lasting.
