The bike has got horizontal drop outs (It's a 2000 frame I believe) but I don't have the inserts as per the link...

I've got the mech hanger but not the other type.

To be honest I can't even work out how they work... Can anyone shed any light on it?

I think I'm going to run without either insert but with a pair of chain tugs instead
