Same Old Politics Of Hate

The Tory flag is unfurled. Having nullified the Liberal side of the alliance, they feel free at last to talk again in their archaic anti social sound-bites. The latest repulsive splurge is no surprise, this is what the Tory/Dail Mail cabal thrive on, sending out these signals in orchestrated leaks, using the excuse of 'rogue' gun, non-party line to hide from the hatred and prejudice their members are spreading.

Let's just hope the latest spoutings prove to be from a lame horse.

tories

anyone who was an adult when they were last in power remembers them well.

I hate em

yes bad bad tories

lets not vote for them..lets vote for labour..they are brilliant..look at what they have done for us

by all means be anti tory..but don't let the labour disease of lack of memory for the last 13 years happen as it has for the labour politicians

hatred and predjudice is wrong?..I don't see much sharing the love in your original post?

take your pick, "bad old tories", or look at Labour, look at what the did to UK in the 1970s and then after they got back in 1997.

The fact is that the UK population "struggles" to pay for what the UK population wants. How do you balance the tax burden. When families do that, borrowing money today to pay for things they want but not knowing how to pay it back, it usually ends in tears. Labour is totally unrealistic as to what is possible and the tories run things at a level accepting that the poorest in society will never vote for them and so no votes lost.

Still, we vote them in time after time, but who do we blame...........

I do think the world is changing, though. Although it appears we don't learn from our mistakes with regards to politicians, this lot might find they are held to account when things hit the fan as a result of decisions they're making.

When they find out about it, people care more about this stuff than they realise.

Lets have a bit of balance here - The Tories are not ideal, but I'll take them any day over the previous government, who's fiscal policies and mismanagement are to blame for our current financial situation. their lack of financial responsibility is why everybody now hates the tories because of the heavy taxation required to repay the country's crippling debts and get us back on our feet.

The Lib dems have proven weak in the the coalition, letting cameron and co ride roughshod over them with little resistance, which is a shame as they probably would have tempered the culture of looking after those who are better off.

Moan about unemployment all you like, but there are jobs out there, it's just people use it as an excuse. I've been made redundant 3 times in the last year and every time I've gotten of my arse and gotten a job within a month, one of them was a 7k pay cut, but hey, I'd rather work than sponge of the state.

My opinion is that Labour and the bulk (NOT all) of its supporters dont share my mentality, they want money for nothing and everything handed to them, they embrace the former governments culture of borrowing money so they can have the things they want but in the full knowledge that factors outside of their control will need to change in order for them to pay it back. They moan about Tories and the fact they cut benefits and raise taxes but when they wake up and look at the cold hard facts they will see there is know other way...

There is now NO party i would vote for, no real opposition, NO-ONE who represents my view

Communism didn't work, collectivism won't work, anarchy is politics on too local a level

Guess i need to shut up and ride my bike!

Isn't lack of memory for the years before that the reason the british electorate let the tories back in? So surely collective amnesia is a cross-party issue,
