I've added one or two of the original photos, including the one with my old riding kit :shock:

I was lucky and nail polish remover was just strong enough to remove the paint with damaging the paint underneath. Took some buffing though!

A 'quick' update. I had some Syncros Revolution cranks from another bike but they were in bad shape so I took the sander to them! Most of the parts on the bike are silver so I have just polished them up as well I could be bothered and put a clear coat over them:

By 'quick', I mean that it ended up taking bloody ages! Paint stripped decided not to work on the second crank arm for some reason so I did a butt load of sanding.

Well, it's a complete bike! I'll have to source some roughly period correct pedals and a front derailleur some time in the future.

I had a white Rolls saddle BITD and happened to see this 'Ergo' model in the recycling bin at work. It's a bit rough looking and I had to glue the cover back on in places but I think it works.

Great looking build.

Would finish it off a treat if it had a set of carbon RS judy fsx
