Royce Titanium Frame ?

Have i dreamt this or did Royce make some Ti frames in the early 90s ?

I'm sure i can remember a friend of mine having one of these back in secondary school days but my memory is very hazy !

Could someone confirm of deny whether this was a dream or not ? thanks !

twas but a dream, although a nice one, not one of those ones where you can't open your eyes fully and there's an overriding sense of dread and paranoia.

to be honest i'm not even sure it was ti i just presumed it would have been !

Didn't Royce use a load of their components on a "Rolls Royce" painted ti frame?

I seem to remember one with Manitou 3s or 4s, a load of lovely Royce kit and a fetching burgundy paint job..?

I'm sure we're thinking of the same bike here.... I distinctly remember a feature on a Rolls Royce bike in MBUK/MTBPro in 1993/1994 which had loads of Royce kit on it... It was a conventional looking frame with thinner tubes than the ones pictured in the link above.

hmmm the bike i remember wasn't burgendy though ! it was like a matt grey from what i remember

Only the bike featured in MBUK/MTBPro was burgundy - they might have produced them in other colours? I've been trying to find a pic of the bike I'm referring to, but no luck
