Sadly next to each other.

I am wondering if the bolts are dodgy/smaller in diameter than desired as not much force is needed to make them spin, certainly didn't thread them myself if they are indeed threaded.

Found some longer (and titaniumer) bolts and they seemed fine. Might buy some slightly longer ones just to be safe.

Stripped, they were threaded before someone stripped them.

Indeed. Second hand wheels I've never used until now. Happy that longer/better bolts are the cure.
