I see that!!! Minimal chrome would be dropouts and the front mech hanger.

I should say that the forks need 'something'. NOT like these but they will demonstrate my point -

I disagree, they are not 'ugly' - just unsuitable for my build. On the right frame I would expect they would look incredible but not mine.

Not the fork, but the three tone chrome paint scheme.

How about a one colour with a chrome fork crown.

I'd defo' go for chrome on the rear triangle & forks! look after chrome and it will stay as good as
new whereas stove enamelled forks & rear triangle will get damaged by the skewers clamping on
the paintwork and one of the biggest bug bear of any old bike is pissing 'chain slap' on the rear stay.
