Funnily I was thinking of you recently, it was not Campag pedals - it was either Rossin shoes or pedals for oval ringed chainset (cannot remember the name at the moment!!)

Bram,

Did you get the leather sorted? If not, look for Robbie on here or search for Velobitz (or similar) on ebay. He has kits for leather on handlebars. Tell him i sent you and you want a good deal!!!

The chrome looks great to me but maybe the pics to not show the faults too well. I will give it more thought.

What do you think about a chrome frame with some paint on it?

Thanks for the encouragement. This would be slightly easier if i was based in England and was able to visit and see the various painters/chromers work. I am stuck in Norn Iron and have to rely on advice from RBers etc which is not ideal but I have to live with it.

i wouldn't go for chrome with paint on it, personally i prefer the traditional chromed chainstay, maybe some fancy lugwork but not to much

send your frame over to belgium and i'll take it to the chromeman, he once gave me a price for a 3/4 rearstays and front lugs for €85.

I found this forum on google, and am brand new here. I hope this isn't against unwritten policy here, but can I hijack this thread for a question?

I just acquired a prestige through ebay. Fork ended up being hosed. Cracked between steerer and crown, and through crown. So I need a replacement, and would like to match the geometry exactly. None of the catalog pages in this thread seemed to have geo, so any of you happen to know?

Also, since this is the congregation of the faithful, anybody happen to have or know of someone with a wreck frame but solid fork who would sell? Shot in the dark here.

What exactly do you need to know?

Your pics do not seem to be working for me - have you a link?

Re the fork - there was one on ebay a long time ago, I have not seen another since. Could be a difficult thing to find.
