Rond WP Pro 3 front fork seals and pump adapter

Retro Newbie
My latest find is a Gazelle Next Titanium Pro with M952 XTR group and a Rond WP Pro 3 suspension fork. I would love to keep the Rond fork, as it is in great shape visually, but I am not sure sure about the functionality, so I would like to give it an overhaul. For that I would need some unobtainium like the pump adapter and new seals.

For the adapter, some dimensions/specs/drawings or an example would be great so I can recreate the adaptor (also for other folks of course). For the seals, anyone has an idea?

Thanks in advance!!

Hi!

Cannot help you with the fork I'm afraid, but wouldn't mind seeing some pictures of the Gazelle (is it the red-white-blue version?)!

:D

Hi,

It is bright orange, and has a name written on the top tube close to the seat tube, but I can't recall which name... I'll make some pics tonight, though it is partly disassembled at the moment. I am planning on sandblasting the frame to bare titanium again. If I could only find some decals and fork parts....

Nice! Looking forward to some pictures..

I don't think those frames were bare Ti originally, were they? I only recall seeing the red-white-blue and dark blue painted versions..

So the name is Andre Schrader, I looked him up and it seems he is still a cycle fanatic. I sent him a message to check whether this was his race bike in the 90's.

That is a seriously nice frame 8)! What year is it?
Never heard of the guy who's name is on the frame, but it would be great if he could share some historical facts about the bike and the times he was racing it..

If it doesn't work out with the Rond forks, I think a color-matched set of Judy's would look ace too :D

@BeTon Hope you're still active here. Did you manage to find a pump adapter for the rond fork in the end? Any info on that would be great! I live in NL, too.

Try searching Rond Magura pump adapter as Magura Quake forks used the same type. It looks like a Marzocchi one but has no thread, just an 'O' ring.

Thanks! I found it in the meantime. Some contradicting info online on whether the magura adapter fits or not. I gave it a try and it does fit, it's just super fiddly to push it past the threads and keep the o ring in place.
