been a while since the last update.
the brakes have beed swapped for a set of cane creek direct curves. the theory behind these is they eliminate the need for noodles so you get less cable drag. i like them as they work well and are a little different.
xt cranks have been returned to the khs so i have put my semi modern lx ones on. apparently these are unusual as they have an xt 5 bolt spider. the only spare ring i had was a 42 so i have countered that with an 18 tooth sprocket which is almost identical to the original 38/16 set up i was running.
forks are now z1 bombers. really really happy with these, just wish i'd discovered them years ago
