i have a question guys

can the stantions be removed from a crown on SID's?



as i would like to replace the sterrer tube but splitty21 would need them reomoved


so ......

any answers?

Nope! They're factory pressed in, non removable (same goes for the steering tube). You will need an entire new stanchion-crown-steering-tube assembly. In the olden days they were removable but never by the time the SID forks came around.

Pretty sure not. Youd need to press them out, not easy without the right tooks.
