Thanks for the pointers and advice. I've successfully swapped the motion control dampers over and filled with not ideal, but all I had oil, and I believe all is now as it should be. It was very simple and has given me the confidence to look at servicing the team forks with the u-turn, as these would look great on a yellow project I have in mind. Just need the lower leg locking nut, u-turn knob , rebuild kit and oil.
