Interesting, so can I unbolt the entire damper unit with the legs still attached, seal the o-ring, drain and refill with 123ml of oil, then screw it back together?suburbanreuben":2hv316pt said:The lockout unit can be unbolted from the top if needed, though to replace the little O ring even that isn't necessary.

By removing the 20mm spacer :
I used these instructions :

And bought these sockets :
I filed the chamfers off the 24mm socket to give it full engagement with the flat ally head on the forks (to minimise the potential for it to slip) - worked perfect

Thanks for the offer. I will do a full service, but want to initially confirm that the lock out/motion control damper is in working order. I've had a leak so assume the deals need replacing, and oil topping up, so my main question for the short term is can I do this without taking the whole fork apart I.e. just remove the damper, replace seals and o-rings, fill with oil, refit damper and away I go.Synthesis":37srxhrr said:The manual here: http://cdn.sram.com/cdn/farfuture/xbxuQ ... _my102.pdf
Is what you need, if you got any questions just ask, I service these all the time.
