Roberts '91 Build. Brakes On

Both frames got final top coating today. Mixed results. The Roberts is near perfect in Brirish Racing Green. I put cellulose through my paint gun and it went on nicely. It really pays off to buy good quality gloss thinners.
I would've got it powder coated, but there were a few minor dings that needed filling and the powder coat wouldn't take to that.
The MF was another story. It got primed, then a silver base coat, followed by what was suppose to be a translucent green. It wasn't (thank you Cass Art!). It was a totally opaque blue that reacted with the base (both acrylic) and looks awful. So that will have to be done all over again.

British racing green with gold lining. Decals from Lloyd's. I took some artistic licence with the red 531 cos it looks cool. Forks are 531 anyway.
The exact tubing is hard to identify, but the BB lugs are Reynolds, so I went with the old Reynolds tubing logo to cover all bases. I don't think Columbus was used???
