Anyone remember the Ritchey Force tire. I have been so frustrated as I could not relate one of my luckiest finds that happened about 8 years ago to anyone who cared. Now after finding this list; I think I need to lie down on the couch and talk.
Eight years ago I was living and riding in Oregon, USA. My LBS was operated by a father and son; they were topnotch down to earth fellow bikers. I still visit them everytime I return to Oregon. I saw them this past summer and they are doing well. Anyway, back to the therapy, I mean story. One day, I was at their shop and asked if I could rummage in the back. They let me and I attacked several boxes full of tires. I found 4, new kevlar Ritchey Force tires. Or is that tyres, hehe. They sold them to me for $5 each. The force is my favorite dry condition front tire. This past summer I mounted the last one. It still has a season in it. I couldn't toss the ones I have worn out. I cut them up and tacked them to a home built trailwork-tool hauling trailer. They cushion the tools and stop them from bouncing around. I even emailed Ritchey and asked if they would make anymore as they most likely still have the molds. I did get a reply; it was negative.
O.K. I feel better. What do I owe you?
