Production cost would be almost zero though, the basic stamped shape is so simple. Is it really a lot heavier than the average carbon cage?

Elite patao =28grams

As you guys know, I've re-made the L-pieces, and yes, the tooling is the expensive part. I also comissioned tooling for the blank. First batch has been ok, and I've kitted out my projects that were in need. However, the cost has been real high. And I can't obviously sell them as "genuine parts" if they aren't. If demand is high enough, I may furnish the masses. . .
. . . you'll have to wait and see. . .

I have one on each of my bikes and I`ve never had a bottle fall out yet.
As was mentioned earlier you can tighten them up to the circumference of your bottle.
I love them but neither of mine has the Ringle graphic on them.

Yes they are indeed very good cages. Why don't they make reissues???

I did prototypes for a forum member for these ages ago, sadly ill health put a lot of projects on hold, however, now i'm almost back to full health there's no reason i can't make them now, as Elite504 has said, I couldn't sell them as originals, replicas maybe. The tooling is all made for the L piece too and colours would not be a problem either.

What are your thoughts?
