rigida freewheel problem

Hello
Got a Rigida 700c alloy rim with freewheel threads. Threads won't take British gears or something French like an old Atom 66. So what are these threads designed for? Or have French threads changed since the Atom 66? Can post a pic if it helps.

I agree it does. But it wouldn't take new Shimano gears and the Atom got stuck half way. Just got a different atom so might try that.

Have you got an old bottom bracket lockring? They should be the same thread if normal UK.
