Not quite sure how but after a mere miracle everything is working as it should!!

Looks good youve made a nice job of that only one thing wrong now though once you have built up a bike you get hooked your always buying bits and frames and before you know it you have enough stuff lying around to build about six but you can never find the time to finish them all

Yeah I broke one of the pads while replacing the rear tyre so it's still in bits awaiting parts.

Can't wait to get out on it and make it dirty! :twisted:

For those possibly considering this frame I'd recommend the following basket.

- Ribble 7005 R4 MTB Frame - £119.96
- Ribble Semi-Integrated Ribble Branded Headset 1 1/8 - £13.96
- CSN Superleggera Alloy Seatpillar 31.6mm - £11.96
^^ These are essentials as they're a pain in the rear to measure for.

- Prorace Cableset - £14.20 (looks good in white).
^^ optional.

Then the other key sizes are:
- 68mm Bottom bracket. I went for 68x118.
- Need a 1"1/8 Fork steerer of close to 200mm (I can double check this for you).

The rest is all standard sizes.

This is how the bike stands at the moment:


Changes since the last pictures include:
Mavic Cross ride wheels
Shimano XT shifters
Shimano Deore M592 Shadow 9 Speed Rear Mech
Marzocchi XC 600 2007 Forks
Boardman black and white seat


oh and the white wall slick tyres are back on (old pic)



Planned changes:
Swapping the forks to carbon fibre rigid ones and finally removing the bottle holders as I'll start using my camelbak.
