Have you thought about changing the 753 decal to the older type?

Not really as they are period correct to when the frame was built. Given that the headset and BB are original to the frame, it's in keeping.

Completed:

Jagwire brake and gear cabling fitted, brakes adjusted. Simplex friction levers tightened.
Handlebars wrapped in perforoated leather look tape
NOS Mavic front and rear derailleurs fitted and tuned (very straightforward). Used a Super Record rear derailleur outer cable as Jagwire too rigid.
Swapped wheels to Mavic Gel 280 tubulars (32 spoke) on Super Record hubs:running 25mm Vittoria Corsa SC tubulars....a different look from the Nisi chromed rims. Freewheel is an Extraleggeri Everest alloy 15-28.
