Reunited with an old friend (2000 Kona Roast)

Many years ago I had a 2000 Kona Roast. When I ordered it I got the bike shop to swap the forks for Z1s, which was the only change I made. I loved the bike so much I would bring it into the house so I could look at it while I watched TV.

Unfortunately it got stolen and I've wanted it back ever since. I've seen a few for sale over the years, pretty much all of them have been molested, bad condition or too far away.

Then I found an absolute peach relative local to me so I couldn't say no. This looks to be in original spec except the saddle (let me know if you have one) and looks like it's had a very easy life. I'm really happy with the addition to the fleet.

It is in really good condition so not much to do on it. The plan is to keep it original, put some air in the tyres, sort the wobbly headset, sort out the shifting, fix the sticky rear brake and clean it up a bit.

I'm surprised about the Z5's, I thought they'd be utter garbage but are very smooth.
