return of the Explosif...

Try enigma.

Seen a couple of these frames snap there.

To be fair seen a fair few also repaired.

I would have thought that a simple repair shouldn't be out of the question ....

I would repair this for sure. Get a fancy paint job and the dents filled at the same time and fall in love with it all over again! :cool:

it took me so long to find it and after selling the parts it didn't really cost me anything so i'm up for a repair, dent fill and respray....

Messiah's, for one (although his is a '95).

sorry to see that happen :(

as said before, that frame's seems to be prone to break at that point - had one which broke exacatly at the same point as yours - was repaired before I bought it - preowner said it drove fine afterwords - I cant agree with him, as I gave it away before having driven it

thats why my 96 Explosif is a wallhanger :oops:

Well my '95 Explosif certainly isn't - I don't worry about whether it will ever fail at the dropout or not, I can't see much point in owning a bike and then being reluctant to ride it, especially as that's not likely to be a life threatening failure (your life, I mean) even if it ever does occur.

before it was rebuild to OE spec. and hanging to the wall, it served me well for over 10 years of usage without any failure ;)

found another 96 Explosif which will be my driver in the future - regardless of the dropout matter :)
