That looks awesome! Enjoy the ride!!Went to Heathfield today, only 13 miles, 825ft of climbing all in the first 7 miles. Had a very nice coffee and wandered around looking in shops. The Cuckoo trail is a good cycle path.
60 miles and 2000ft of climbing to get back home tomorrow.View attachment 856417View attachment 856418View attachment 856419View attachment 856420View attachment 856421View attachment 856422View attachment 856423View attachment 856425View attachment 856425View attachment 856426
That Camaro can't be all too common over there either, can it? That's all kinds of good times right there, as long as someone else is paying for the gasHad a very nice coffee and wandered around looking in shops
Big respect for the both of you for doing this.Came home today 58 miles and 1800ft of climbing due to a different route.
Spoke to a very nice gentleman from Washington DC riding a Bike Friday, just outside of Lewes.
Headwind was between 25-30mph, all the way and it battered us all the way back to Bognor. Jo took three turns totalling around 6 miles to give me a very welcome break. Our average speed was pants.
5 days, 185miles, 6500ft of climbing, 118 of those miles for me were with a 18.5kg load. I must confess to being knackered and the drafting queen has retired for the evening
Would we do it again? In a heartbeat.

Thanks mateBig respect for the both of you for doing this.
DefinitelySounds like you had an exhaustingly fun trip....
It sounds really good except for all this "climbing". Jan, flatland group tour sounds far healthier, doesn't it?
