Re:

Looks like a lovely site to take the family in the big tent, but at 19quid to pitch me small tent up as it's still high season, I think not.

Re:

Not been in to check out the facilities but it looks nice in passing. Trouble is it's a fair old walk to the pub! Seems to be getting more common that prices are done by pitch, which is disappointing but logical when you think that it makes zero difference to the site owner what you put on there.

Be glad it's not on Anglesey - struggle to get change out of thirty quid for a one man pop-up tent there!

Re:

Recce ride tomorrow afternoon. We''l have a quick look at the Pindale campsite. I've seen it in passing before; seems a popular scout camp.

Meeting at The Woodbine cafe at 12 noon if anyone wants to join ElPedro666 and myself. We'll both be riding modern bikes... ( oh the shame )

Err... I confess I have a modern cyclocross bike. My most modern MTB is a 1997 ProFlex. So just what are those modern bikes like?? ;-)

No ride to the mast? Damn and cheescake! I was hoping to ride non stop to the top this year for the first time...

Will be arriving Friday - Day pass currently in negotiation as I'm supposed to be in London Sunday with the missus.

The bike will be a 'modern' 1998.

Re:

I'm planning on being there.

I've got plenty of jumble stuff, hoping to have a rummage in other peoples unwanted stuff.

cheers.
