Retrobike = Happiness

Apart form my father throwing away a 1930's Mercian trackbike, crashing into the back of my boss' car whilst looking at a pretty lady and lime green lycra my 26 year love affair with cycling has been sublimely happy.

What started it all was a go on my friend's brother's Puch Mountain Jet and when I saw one on ebay recently I put down my £4.29 and won.

After a bit of extra cash and fettling I finally got round to putting a child seat on it and took my son out for a spin. Judging by his happy and joyous shouts I think I have a cycling fan :D

Hopefully the Mountain Jet will last for a few more years so I can pass it on to him - so Retrobike = happiness and unalloyed delight
