Raleigh. Looks like it gets used and not just given a polish before bedtime.

Im pretty anal when it comes to baby'ing my bikes, looking after the investment whilst still enjoying the moment is important.

But sod cleaning them at bed time, cuddling up to Bum Island with the wife is far more appealing.

If limited number bikes In the uk means special edition I can enter a bike. Ain't going to win but
If I get some pictures of my lump of metal I'll enter 1 of 7 in the country that year.

I'd like to enter my '93 Klein Adroit 'Team Storm'.
What makes this special to other Adroits is that the Team Storm paintjob was never available to public. Because of the time painter Kory Dow needed to use in painting this scheme (stencil painted clouds), it was offered only to factory sponsored racers. Only about 30 frames with this paintjob were ever made, most of them being Adroits. However, only my and Martin K.'s Adroits' whereabouts are known.
This one is built as Tinker Juarez' '93 season race replica and is sporting Tinker's original and authentic race wheels.

Great Month with great entries so far and what would BOTM be without a little controversy. For me hard to beat a beautiful Dirt drop IBIS being it is one of my short list bikes to find and so well done, but there are some beautiful bikes in the mix. Dig the 10th and the storm.

I don't think BOTM should allow bikes that are advertised for sale because it will encourage the competition to become a well exposed classified add. I have a beat up Ritchey Outback (special Edition made in Japan) I picked up at the swap meet that I could throw in here for a little selling exposure but it kinda takes away from the spirit of the competition. No?

Agreed. Businesses entering bikes that are for sale on ebay or their company's site, or seeing all the parts off an entered bike in the FS section the day after the competition ends (HAD to have been split before the votes were even tallied) takes away from the spirit (read: pride of ownership/build satisfaction) that the irreverent competition should foster.

Whole Heartedly Agree..........Especially with the Big business entrants.

It would be scary if First Flight Bikes got into the mix. They have enough to enter a bike a month for years. :) But realistically, it's not like those that primarily flip or have museums do well in these polls. To be fair, I think anybody's bike that is advertised as being for sale (even with feelers out) should probably not be entered. Those that do it, know in their hearts that they want to let the bike go and should feel it inappropriate and self police themselves. Strange that rules have to be in place to keep within the spirit of the contest.

Anyhow, that's a great looking Klein and those Ti Fats are also special. My ti fat is one of my funnest bikes to ride. Good luck to all the participants this month.
