I forgot about the Bear Valley SE - that is one loose use of the term 'Special Edition'. An edition so special that it appeared in every catalogue, every year.

I want to see Fat Chance Fatlantas, Fat 10th Anniversaries, Specialized Epic Ultimates, Merlin Newsboys, Breezer series I or II. But then I am a snob when it comes to staring at other peoples bike porn in BOTM

Wasn't the SE indicating Special Equipment, not Edition? i.e. an XT rear mech...
