Can't ever recall seeing a 12 tooth cog on a 5 speed, or even a compact 6 like the Suntour Ulta 6 which is the same width....

I wonder if you’re right; perhaps the only way to have that is to go 6 speed. I guess I’ll just have to make do with 13 ups.

Regina 12-17 6 speed were regularly used on TT wheels or you could go with the alloy Maillard 12 up blocks which are rare to find a good one.

The problem is the spacing. For this reason I’ve been looking out for a SunTour ultra 6...

Nearly there.

185g NOS Sunrace rear mech (purchased for cheapness-lightness). Matching front wheel still needs building. Will put a better saddle on too.

You’ll need to get a Ken Bird head decal

I provided Lloyds with an original head tube decal to copy so they now have them.
